Speed varies by model, but most kids electric balance bikes range from around 4 mph to 20 mph, depending on the power mode. All Orion electric balance bikes offer 3 speed settings and a race/MAX mode for faster speeds.

Battery range varies, but all Orion electric balance bikes can run for up to 4 hours of ride time or up to 20+ miles, depending on terrain, speed setting, and usage. 

Typical charging time is 2–4 hours, depending on the battery size and charger.

They are designed to handle light splashes and normal outdoor conditions, but they should not be submerged or ridden in heavy rain conditions. Light washing is acceptable. When washing your bike, avoid high-pressure power washers or spraying water directly into the bottom frame area or charge port area. 

Orion electric bikes are brushless hub drive only. We purposely do not use a chain drive system, as they inherently have issues. Brushless hub drives are virtually maintenance-free and will provide performance and reliability.
