Refund and Returns Policy

Return/Refund of a Bike Order

If you are not completely satisfied with your pit bike purchase, you can return it within ten (10) days for a refund of the purchase price minus a 25% restocking fee. However, returns are not allowed under the following conditions:

  • The bike has been taken off the pallet, uncrated, assembled by the customer, or the engine has been started.
  • The bike has been Pro Prepped or modified in any way, either by Orion or the customer.

Orion Moto is not responsible for licensing or title work in any state. It is your responsibility to know the laws of your state for licensing your bike. Returns will not be accepted after ten (10) days.

Return/Refund of a Part Order

If you are not completely satisfied with your part purchase or if your part is defective from the manufacturer, you can return it within thirty (30) days for a refund of the purchase price minus a 25% restocking fee and our shipping cost if the order was over $100. After thirty (30) days, Orion Moto has the discretion to either give a store credit or reject the return altogether. Parts must be in new, unused, and resalable condition.

Please note:

  • We are not responsible for any parts not fitting your particular model.
  • We have the right to refuse a part return if you ordered the wrong parts.
  • No returns on OEM parts unless you purchased your bike directly from us.
  • No returns on garage sale items, special order, custom parts, electronic parts, motors, or tubes.
  • We do not return parts on bike models older than 2015 and do not guarantee part fitment for models older than 2015.

All returns must be pre-authorized before you return them. Packages received without authorization will not be accepted.

Return/Refund of an Apparel Order

We only accept returns on damaged, defective, or misprinted items. We cannot accept returns due to sizing issues. You have thirty (30) days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Additional Return Guidelines

  • Products must be in original packaging, unused, brand new condition, and resalable.
  • We do not accept returns due to color availability, unit not fitting the rider, or model upgrades.
  • We do not guarantee color choice and will select one for you based on inventory if no backup color is chosen.
  • No returns on Pro Prepped, Works Package bikes, or custom bikes.
  • Any damage incurred during shipping back will be your responsibility.
  • We do not refund or exchange due to shipping damages. All shipments are insured.
  • Refusal of delivery will result in you being responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return.
  • There are no refunds for any labor or service charges.
  • Refunds due to return could be subject to special/abnormal fees associated with shipping (e.g., lift gate service, inside delivery).
  • We do not return bikes for any state licensing issues. Check with your DMV on licensing issues.

Orion reserves the right to change colors, components, etc., on any pit bike without notice. Always read the full description of each product you purchase. Pictures may not depict the actual product you are buying.

Orion Moto is not responsible for licensing or titles in any state. Know the laws of your state for licensing your bike before purchase. Some states have special federal requirements. Always contact your DMV before purchasing and ensure you have all required paperwork.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is only applied if your billing address is in Texas and Utah.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

eSeries Warranty Statement

At Orion Moto, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our eSeries bikes. Our manufacturer warranty ensures that your Orion Moto eSeries is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions. If any issues arise within the warranty period, we will repair or replace the defective components at no cost to you. Please note that this warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications. We are dedicated to offering you dependable, high-performance electric balance bikes that you can ride with assurance.

Warranty Coverage Items

90 Day limited warranty

Under normal use conditions, Orion Moto will repair or replace any electrical components, battery, foot pegs, foot peg mounts, wheels, brake systems, kickstand, handlebar clamp, stem clamp, handlebars, axles, head and wheel bearings and suspension that exhibit manufacturer defects in material or workmanship within 90 days of purchase.

1 Year limited warranty

Under normal use conditions, Orion Moto will repair or replace the frame and non Suspension front fork that exhibit manufacturer defects in material or workmanship within 1 year of purchase.

Replacement Part Warranty

Under normal use conditions, Orion Moto will repair or replace any purchased replacement part within 30 days of purchase.

No Warranty Coverage Items

Please note that wear items, including but not limited to brake pads, brake discs, brake levers, brake fluid/cables, reflectors, grips, bar ends, hardware, tires, tubes, seat, and skid plates, are not covered under our warranty. These components are subject to regular wear and tear from normal use, and their replacement is the responsibility of the owner.

Consumer Neglect and Accidents: Our bikes are built to withstand the wear and tear that comes with children's use. However, any damage resulting from neglect, lack of maintenance or accidents are not covered under our warranty.

Water Damage: While our electrical components are designed to be water-resistant, they are not covered under warranty if submerged in water. Orion bikes are not intended for use in rivers, streams, heavy rainfall, or deep puddles. Any electrical components that become wet should properly be dried immediately.

Mismatched Chargers/Batteries: Battery chargers are unique to each model of bike. Damage caused to the battery from a mismatch and charger will not be covered under this warranty. Using the wrong charger may result in damage to electrical components or cause fire.

Maintenance Items

Throttle Assembly: We recommend removing and cleaning the throttle assembly if dirt or sand enters the unit due to tipping over. Sand and dirt are abrasive and can damage the assembly, reducing its lifespan. Part failure due to water, dirt or sand ingestion will not be covered under warranty.

Steering Assembly: Regularly check the steering assembly for tightness. A loose steering stem can lead to premature bearing wear.

Fasteners: It is recommended to check all fasteners on a regular basis to ensure proper functionality and your child's safety. Damage caused by a loose fastener will not be covered under warranty.

Cleaning: Keeping your eSeries bike clean is key to its longevity. Regular cleaning prevents wear, but avoid using a pressure washer, as it can damage electrical components. Instead, use a gentle spray or damp cloth for safe cleaning.

Batteries: Keeping lithium-ion and LiFePO4 batteries charged during storage is essential for their longevity. Storing them partially charged (40-60% for lithium-ion and 50-70% for LiFePO4) helps prevent degradation and ensures they remain ready for use. Regularly checking their charge maintains optimal battery health.

Charge Port: Before charging your eSeries bike, it's important to check the charge port for debris, dirt, mud, or water. These contaminants can interfere with proper charging and may cause damage to the charger, port or battery. Ensuring the port is clean and dry helps maintain safe and efficient charging.

Brake Pads: Checking brake pads regularly is crucial for your child's safety. Worn pads reduce braking efficiency and can damage other components, leading to costly repairs. Keeping pads in good condition ensures safe braking and protects the entire system.

Tires: Regularly checking tire wear and inflation is essential for keeping the bike performing properly and ensuring your child's safety. Properly inflated and well-maintained tires provide better traction, stability, and control, reducing the risk of accidents. Worn or underinflated tires can lead to poor handling and increased stopping distances, so it's important to keep them in good condition.

Pit/Dirt Bike Warranty Statement

This factory limited warranty agreement is between Orion, and its retail clients (hereafter referred to as Dealer). There are no agreements or warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, other than those stated in this agreement. Dealer agrees to enter into this agreement by purchasing from Orion.

This warranty is offered by Orion Moto to its Dealers. The factory limited warranty starts on the date that the unit is sold to the Dealer’s customer. During the warranty period, Orion will cover parts only. Orion Moto does not cover the labor or freight to send back defective parts or ship out replacement parts. Parts are covered under this warranty to be free from manufacturer defects. Parts not included in this warranty are listed below in the Warranty Limitations. Any parts deemed questionable by Orion Moto must be submitted for approval. All dealers are required to extend this factory limited warranty to their retail customers at minimum. Dealers may offer a warranty that exceeds this agreement or extend at their own discretion and cost.

To Qualify for This Warranty
The product must be purchased in the United States, from an Orion dealer. This warranty applies to the first retail purchaser and each subsequent owner during the applicable warranty period, unless noted otherwise.

Warranty Limitations
Parts not covered under this warranty are listed below. Warranty requests on any of the below items may be submitted for review to the Distributor’s warranty/parts department. If a part is deemed defective by Orion Moto, the part will be covered under warranty.

*Damage caused by the following is not covered under this warranty. Unavoidable natural disasters, fire, collision, theft, improper storage or transportation, negligence of the periodic maintenance, improper use, racing, jumping, improper repair, adjustment or maintenance, repairs and adjustments not done by the Distributor dealers, use of non-genuine parts, using the product for commercial use, unauthorized modification made to the product, operation of the vehicle when it is overheating, or installing performance parts or components on the vehicle that change the original engineering. In addition, this warranty does not cover rubber or plastic parts unless found defective upon assembly by the dealer. The Factory Limited Warranty does not cover damage caused by, or resulting from, any other reason besides a manufacturer’s defect.
